Chillera Is Back - Major Server Update
Dear Chillerians!
It has been over a year since our last major update. Apart from a handful of smaller fixes and our traditional Christmas event - which, admittedly, followed roughly the same formula as every year - not much has happened on the server.
And honestly, that should not come as a surprise. For what is probably the third or even fourth time in Chillera's history, we simply lost the spark for a while.
Chillera has never been a commercial project. It is something we create purely for fun, and we want to enjoy every stage of its development. Most importantly, we still want to be able to log in from time to time and experience the server just like you do - as ordinary, casual players enjoying the game.
As always, the spark eventually returned. We began working quietly at first, and later started sharing a few subtle spoilers on our Discord server - which you absolutely should join if you are not there already.
What initially looked like just another update soon became something much bigger.
A Completely New Approach
In the past, we purchased server updates from various third-party sources, some of which were considerably less reliable than others. Sometimes we were scammed out of a significant amount of money. Other times, we simply received poorly made builds that crashed constantly and were full of bugs.
Our veteran players know these stories all too well.
This time, for the first time in our history, we decided to do things differently: we started completely from scratch and built the update ourselves.
Using a clean Canary engine as our foundation, we gradually rebuilt, adjusted and refined the server. We also want to be completely transparent: the final stages of development were completed largely with the help of AI.
To everyone who remains skeptical about AI - we understand. However, it has now reached a point where, when it comes to server development, it is a genuine game changer.
How will everything perform in practice? We are just as curious as you are. Fortunately, we will all find out very soon on S1 and S3.
What Does the Update Include?

The update contains the complete content of Winter Update 2025, together with the latest Vocation Adjustments Release.
Alongside the new mechanics, the update introduces new locations, hunting grounds, quests and much more.
The changelog below covers our additional changes and improvements that are not directly tied to those two releases.
Low-Level EXP Stage Adjustment
We have also made a small adjustment to the experience stages for levels 1–300. The experience rates within this range have been reduced slightly.
After reviewing player progression, it became clear that the low- and mid-level stages were over far too quickly. Being able to create an account, enter the game and reach level 200 in roughly one hour was simply too fast.
We have therefore smoothed out the progression curve. As a result, the journey through the first 200–300 levels should now take approximately twice as long.
The goal is not to make the early game tedious. We simply want progression to feel more meaningful, better paced and more rewarding.
